Kermario's megaliths

It is within two steps of famous alignments of Kermario, in a solid body of farm cut in the authentic and renovated stone that Pierre Michaud choosed to install his restaurant. 

 

The menhirs of Carnac, in Brittany, represented a point of social and religious meeting for the old Celtic culture.

 

During decades, they transmitted their suggestive message to people who lived in these places and to other people who, in all Europe, seized their invaluable significance.

 

A testimony of alive archaeology able to transmit the old Celtic spirit which in Brittany forever ceased existing. During centuries, the inhabitants of the area lived in contact with this testimony, involving it in their sociocultural context.

 

 

Among the old monuments, people of Carnac celebrated their weddings, gave the last good-bye to their dead, and the young people were going there to swear love eternal before engagement.
